HOO-DOO AT DENS CONTINUES AS DUNDEE SLUMP TO ANOTHER LOSS.

Dundee 0-1 Partick Thistle.

Dundee's home hoo-doo this season continued on Saturday as Partick took the spoils in a match which saw the referee have a major impact.

The referee after 23 minutes awarded a penalty for Partick after Chris Erskine rounded Rab Douglas and was the referee thought that contact was made by the Dundee player on the Partick and sent Douglas off but it seems that Matt Lockwood was the player who brought down the Partick player and it was a case of wrong identity. Keeper John Gibson was brought on to replace Leighton McInstosh and his first task was to pluck the ball from the back of the net.

Dundee though showed a reaction after the red card and they were the better team throughout the half although Partick caught out the Dees and brought some smart saves out of Gibson.
Dundee had some decent chances of their own and it was only fantastic saves from the keeper that denied Gary Irvine and Gavin Rae from equalising. More to follow..
