BARRY SET TO BECOME DUNDEE MANAGER ON PERMANENT DEAL AFTER ADMINISTRATION

Barry at the launch of the Deefiance scarf....

Dundee look set to be boosted by the news that Barry Smith will be offered the managers job at Dens on a permanent deal once the club are out of administration.  According to Chief Executive, Harry MacLean, who spoke to the Evening Telegraph today, the club have made Barry their number one choice for the job on a permanent basis and that only the technicalities of administration is preventing Barry being offered the security of the deal just now.Smith, has worked wonders in the transformation of the club since we went into administration in October. Since then, we have been on a 17 game unbeaten run in the league and have only tasted defeated once and that was in the Scottish Cup to Motherwell. The only sticking point at the moment is the administration situation and once that hurdle is hopefully cleared, it will allow the contract to be offered formally to Smith.
