DUNDEE ON LOOK OUT FOR NEW CHAIRMAN AS STUART MURPHY QUITS

Stuart Murphy has been instrumental in the on-going recovery of Dundee FC.
Dundee saw the third resignation from the Dundee board in the space of a couple of months as chairman Stuart Murphy quit his post as chairman and director of Dundee FC with immediate effect. That follows Jim Thomson and Chief Executive Harry MacLean (Harry officially stepping down in December after working notice) who both tendered their resignations. We wish Stuart all the best for the future and would like to thank him for his tremendous efforts in helping this club survive.

CONROY DOES IT AGAIN!

Greenock Morton 1-2 Dundee.

Ryan Conroy came up with the winner again for Dundee as the Dees fought back from a goal down to claim all three points at Cappielow. Morton took the lead early in the first half courtesy of a goal from Andy Jackson but Gavin Rae equalised in the 42nd minute with a fine finish from the outside of his foot. Dundee completed the turnaround in the 56th minute when Jake Hyde cut a pass back for the incoming Ryan Conroy who volleyed the ball past a beaten Cervi. More to follow.....

DUNDEE V RAITH ROVERS, PREVIEW

Dundee welcome Raith Rovers to Dens tommorow as the Dees continue to search for their first home win of the season in the league. Last week the Dundee performance was decent but a highly disputed penalty and some great saves from the Thistle keeper resulted in Partick leaving Dens with the three points.

Set to miss out for the Dees is Graham Bayne while Jake Hyde could be back in contention for the team. New loanee Calum Elliot will be in the squad for tommorows game while his Hearts team mate Denis Prychynenko could be in the line up for Raith as he yesterday agreed a loan deal with the Kirkcaldy club until January.

HEARTS STRIKER JOINS DEE ON LOAN.

Calum Elliot at Dens today.
Dundee have confirmed today the signing of 24 year old Hearts striker Calum Elliot on a one month loan deal.

Speaking to the official Dundee website, Calum said:

"I found out for definite that I was coming here yesterday, I signed the papers and it's a great opportunity to come here get games and, hopefully, help the team to do well."

"I asked Hearts if I could go out on loan as I've been out since January and after a long time getting back to fitness the lack of a reserve league meant I wasn't getting games, I'm keen to get going here and am really looking forward to being involved against Raith tomorrow."

Calum has recently been out with an injury. He has also had loan spells at Motherwell and Livingston.

BIG RAB WINS APPEAL

Big Rab Douglas will be between the sticks for the Dees this Saturday after winning his appeal for his red card to be rescinded. He was adjudged by the referee to have felled the Partick player in the penalty box and was subsequently was sent off. The SFA upheld Dundee's appeal after seeing video evidence which showed Douglas made no contact with Chris Erskine at all.
