Dundee 0-1 Greenock Morton: Dens Park. Attendance: 4,096
Greenock Morton came to Dens with the objective of defeating Dundee at Dens. The Dark Blues hadn't been beaten in the league at Dens Park for 19 months before today's game and Morton were determined to walk away with the spoils.
Dundee kicked off in the first half and started very brightly, winning 5 corners in the first five minutes but nothing really amounted to anything that was to trouble the Morton goal. However, Dundee's recent defence errors came back to haunt the Dees again when after six minutes Jackson turned Weston in the Dundee box and managed to get a shot on target and big Rab saved superbly only for Peter MacDonald to turn the rebound into the net. More to follow.....
