HERE WE GO, THE FIRST DIVISION IS BACK FOR A NEW SEASON!

At last, all of the pre-season friendlies have taken place, now it's down to the real buisness that is the start of the new First Division campaign. Dundee have a tricky start away to Partick Thistle. Under Jackie MacNamara, the Maryhill side will be looking to challenge for the title this season. After inheriting the squad after the departure of former bos Ian McCall last season, the new Firhill boss is looking to make his own mark on the team and that has included the signings of  former Queen of the South and Stirling Albion player Scott Robertson, the loan signing of Hearts player Conrad Balatoni and former Arbroath defender Aaron Sinclair.

Dundee head into the new campaign with fresh optimisim after the events of last season. The additions of Steven Milne, Jake Hyde, Ryan Conroy, Jamie McCluskey, Ross Chisholm, Graham Bayne and Neil McGregor will help boost the squad and builds on the heroes of last season whom the majority are still at Dens.

We hope we can get off to the perfect start tommorow with a win over Partick but it will be a tough game and I am sure the boys in Dark Blue will give their all and I am sure we'll be fine.
