DARREN SAYS NO TO DUNDEE

Aberdeen striker has knocked back the chance to join Dundee on loan to pursue silverware at his current club. The 30 year old, who is in his testimonial year in the Granite City, has been told his contract will not be renewed in the summer but is determined to leave Aberdeen with a Scottish Cup winners medal.

Meanwhile, the new Dundee CEO Scot Gardiner, has urged Dundee supporters not to worry about the lack of transfer activity during the transfer window, citing that it was only clubs that were buying players that had to do business during the window and that didn't apply to Dundee and  can therefore pursue free transfers and loan deals. It is hoped that Dundee will tie up a midfielder on loan from an SPL side in due course.
