DUNDEE ARE SPL 'CLUB 12'

Dundee FC will be playing in the SPL next season as they were invited to join the SPL over Dunfermline on sporting merit.

Dundee replaces Rangers who will now play their football in SFL Third Division, providing they get SFA membership as the saga continues.


Dundee CEO spoke of his delight for the club and for the fans on hearing that Dundee were being invited into the SPL.

""It was great news for the club, great news for the players and most importantly great news for the fans."

"They've had seven years of backing their team through thick and thin in the first division - some pretty thin times and some pretty hairy experiences - one of the first things we all thought about here was this is amazing for the fans, that's absolutely genuine - it's what they deserve."
