Dundee 0-1 Airdrie United

Dundee were made to pay for missing their own penalty by conceding a match winning penalty themselves. It was Leigh Griffiths that took the Dark Blue's penalty but his shot was saved by the Airdrie United keeper, Stephen Robertson. Airdrie United then won themselves a penalty in the 24th minute and it was Kevin MacDonald that sent Big Rab the wrong way and all three points were bound for Airdrie. To make matters worse, Gary MacKenzie was sent off just before half time for a challenge on the United keeper. Numbers would be evened up in the last few minutes of the game when Robert Donnelly was sent off for United, but Airdrie held on to compound the first league defeat on Dundee at Dens Park this season.
