Dundee 0-0 Ross County:
Dundee avoided a third straight defeat in all competitions by drawing with a plucky Ross County side at Dens Park. Dundee started brightly with an early corner after two minutes, but it ultimatly came to nothing. Ross County had the chance to take the lead after seven minutes when Michael Gardyne sprinted forward from the half way line with Gary Wood running as back up but Gardyne hesitated too long and should have passed to Wood but Craig McKeown managed to put a block in as a shot finally came. Dundee struggled to gain purposeful possession and were clumsy with mis-placed passes. County looked comfortable and stroked the ball round purposefully and quickly. Dundee could have taken the lead before the break with a superb Gary Harkins 25 yard free kick which clattered off the crossbar. Minutes later, Dundee could have again taken the lead when a scramble ensured in the County 6 yard box but County bodies quickly blocked Dundee shots and the danger was cleared.
Second half and Dundee made a change. Jamie Adams, who as playing centre half picked up a booking in the first half, was replaced by Rhys Weston. Dundee managed to gain a little grip of the game and their passing improved. Sean Higgins replaced Colin McMenamin late on in the second half but he couldn't help Dundee to a win. The game finished 0-0.
