PLAYER PROFILE: JAMIE ADAMS

22 year old Jamie Adams signed a loan deal with the Dees until January from St Johnstone. Jamie was born in Stranraer in August 1987. He started his footballing career with Kilmarnock and was a product of their youth system. In 2007, as part of the Willie Gibson transfer from Queen of the South to Kilmarnock, Jamie was farmed out on loan to Queen of the South. where he made 11 appearances and scoring two goals. He was then shipped out on loan again to Queen of the South for the start of the 2007/08 season and then again for a third spell in July 2008. However, during these two spells at the club, he suffered two cruciate ligament injuries but was nursed back to full fitness after lengthy spells on the sidelines. He joined Partick Thistle on emergency loan from November 2009 til January 2010, where he made 7 appearances for the Jags. In March 2010, he again joined Queen of the South on loan and made seven appearances. Jamie's contract with Kilmarnock expired in May 2010 and he subsequently joined St Johnstone on a two year deal. He joined Dundee on the 29th July 2010 on loan until January 2011 and once again teams up with Gordon Chisholm and Billy Dodds who were at Palmerston when Adams was there on loan. He made his debut in the Dark Blue of Dundee against Montrose in the CIS League Cup and won a penalty for Dundee.
